Beth Roberts
Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Physiotherapy and Clinical Educator
Beth joined Harper Adams University part-time in 2012 and established the Vet Rehab Centre, having qualified as a veterinary physiotherapist in 2011. She spent the previous year working in a busy small animal referral hospital in the East Midlands and free-lancing as an equine veterinary physiotherapist.
Elizabeth Gilbert
Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing
Liz qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006. She spent a year in mixed practice before deciding to focus on small animal work. Liz worked in several first opinion small animal practices before moving to Harper Adams University in 2012. In 2014 she obtained the Post graduate Certificate in Veterinary Education from the Royal Veterinary College. In 2016 Liz undertook further training in veterinary acupuncture.
Carly Atkinson
Lecturer in Veterinary Physiotherapy and Clinical Educator
Carly joined the Vet Rehab team full-time in 2017, after qualifying as a veterinary physiotherapist in 2015. She previously worked as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in small animal and mixed practice for several years. Carly works predominantly on the canine side, and has a keen interest in improving the quality of life of elderly arthritic patients.
Helen Morell
Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Sciences
Having qualified as a Veterinary Physiotherapist in 2012 (MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy, Harper Adams University), Helen quickly established a busy practice in Surrey where she provided support for dogs and horses competing on national teams. Helen also holds a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science (Newcastle University) and Postgraduate qualifications in Marketing (Oxford) and Teaching (Harper Adams University).
Holly Simpson
Clinical Educator in Veterinary Physiotherapy
Holly joined the Vet Rehab team part-time in 2018 having qualified as a veterinary physiotherapist in 2016. Her undergraduate degree is in Equine Science. Alongside working as a Clinical Educator, Holly runs her own busy practice for horses and dogs in Staffordshire.
Saffy Wright
Clinical Educator in Veterinary Physiotherapy
Saffy started working as part of the Vet Rehab team part-time in 2020 having graduated with a BSc(Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2019. She spent the year after graduating building a successful mixed animal veterinary physiotherapy business covering the midlands, which she runs alongside her role at Harper.
